Para Ice Hockey Demo Day – Give It a Try! ❄️
Have you ever wanted to try Para Ice Hockey? Now’s your chance!
We’re hosting a FREE Demo Day on Saturday, September 27th at 5:45 PM at the Bell Aliant Centre, and everyone is invited!
This event is open to all ages and abilities – whether you’ve played hockey before, never been on the ice, or are simply curious to see what it’s all about. Para ice hockey is an exciting, fast-paced, and inclusive sport that gives participants a whole new perspective on the game.
Here’s what you can expect:
✅ Sleds, sticks, and support equipment provided
✅ Friendly volunteers to help with set-up and getting comfortable in the sleds
✅ A quick run-through of the rules and basics of para ice hockey
✅ A chance to try some skills and drills on the ice
✅ Lots of fun in a welcoming, inclusive environment
What to Bring:
A helmet (hockey or bike helmet is fine)
A pair of warm winter gloves
When: Saturday, September 27
⏰ Time: 5:45 PM – 6:45 PM
