Featured Keynote Speakers

Lucas Arsenault

Proudly from Wellington, PEI, Lucas shares a powerful story of survival and recovery in a way that is deeply relatable, grounded, and rooted in sport and recreation. Rather than relying on hype or motivation, Lucas connects by helping audiences see their own challenges differently. He brings perspective to everyday pressures, encourages gratitude for what often goes unnoticed, and reminds people that progress is built through small, consistent actions, especially during life’s hardest moments, and how returning to multiple sports in a day one year after his injury was a goal for him and inspirational for others.

Amy Burk

Amy Burk is an Island-born Paralympian, motivational speaker, and passionate advocate for inclusion and accessibility. As a member of Canada’s Women’s Goalball Team, she has represented Canada on the international stage while inspiring audiences through her resilience, leadership, and determination. Amy shares powerful stories about overcoming barriers, embracing possibility, and the importance of creating communities where everyone has the opportunity to participate, belong, and succeed.

At the Power of ParaSport: Breaking Barriers Gala, Amy will bring a unique perspective on perseverance, teamwork, and the life-changing impact of inclusive sport.
