ParaSport and Recreation PEI is excited to host an annual ParaSport Festival, a full-day event celebrating inclusion, participation, and the power of sport!
The Festival is open to students with a physical disability in grades K–12 and gives participants the chance to experience a variety of parasports offered on PEI. It’s also a great opportunity for teachers, educational assistants, and leadership students to gain hands-on experience and learn more about inclusive sport.
Students will rotate through activities of their choice in both facilities with the other students from their school.
Participants can choose between swimming or para ice hockey sessions at the Bell Aliant Centre in the morning only, while other sessions take place in the gymnasium at the Chi Wan Young Sports Centre.
