Adaptive Sailing Comes to Charlottetown Yacht Club
Experience the Freedom of Sailing — For Everyone
We’re excited to announce the launch of Adaptive Sailing at the Charlottetown Yacht Club, a new program designed to make sailing more accessible, inclusive, and empowering for individuals of all abilities.
In partnership with Able Sail / Handi-Voile, ParaSport and Recreation PEI, and Charlottetown Yacht Club, this pilot program offers participants the opportunity to experience the joy of being on the water in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.
Program Highlights
- Accessible sailing experiences for people with disabilities
- Sail aboard specially selected boats, including the Maarten 16 and Sonar 23
- Trained volunteers and support staff on hand
- Inclusive, confidence-building outdoor recreation
- No previous sailing experience required
