Come Try Aqua Abilities – Summerside!

ParaSport and Recreation PEI is excited to kick off Aqua Abilities in Summerside and we’d love for you to join us! This inclusive aquatic program is designed to support participants of all abilities in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Chad McCormack’s Para Archery Journey

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our community partners who are helping make Chad McCormack’s para archery journey possible 🏹♿
This weekend Chad will be participating in the 2026 Lancaster Archery Classic, one of the largest indoor archery tournaments on the East Coast, January 22-25, 2026, at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex in Manheim, Pennsylvania. This is the second largest archery tournament in North America, and Chad’s first opportunity to compete against other para athletes.
As a PEI athlete training and competing on the pathway toward the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles, Chad’s progress is made possible through the generosity of sponsors who believe in resilience, opportunity, and inclusion in sport.
Your support helps cover essential training and travel costs and sends a powerful message that Island athletes of all abilities deserve the chance to pursue excellence.

Over the holiday season, ParaSport and Recreation PEI was proud to present the prizes from our annual Christmas Fundraiser, and we are so grateful for the incredible Island-wide support that made it such a success.

We are thrilled to congratulate our prize winners:

🎁 Grand Prize – $3,500 Shopping Spree
Congratulations to MacAusland Construction of Summerside, who were the fortunate winners of our grand prize. MacAusland Construction has been a loyal supporter of this fundraiser for more than 20 years, and we are truly thankful for their long-standing commitment to ParaSport and Recreation PEI.

⛳ Second Prize – Golf Getaway Prize Basket
The second-place prize was won by Mane Connection of Charlottetown — congratulations and enjoy your golf getaway!

🎁 Third Prize – Gift Basket valued at $1,500
Our third prize was won by Shelly McClumpha of Eglington, PEI. We hope you enjoy this fantastic prize!

Your tireless work, dedication, and passion for the cause make events like this possible and help us create inclusive sport and recreation opportunities for Islanders of all abilities.
