Whether you’re a seasoned golfer with physical disabilities, or just starting out, this is a perfect chance to learn, play, and connect with the community.
Hosted by PGA of Canada Professional, Connor Shea of Belvedere Golf Club, in collaboration with PEI Golf Association, with funding provided by the Small Grants Program with the Government of Prince Edward Island Division of Tourism, Fisheries, Sport and Culture.
ParaSport and Recreation PEI has partnered with Synergy Fitness and Nutrition to offer a fitness program for adults with a physical or visual disability.
The program changes every 12 weeks and includes cardio and strength training.
If you have never been to the gym before or maybe you haven’t been in a while then this is the program for you! All fitness levels are welcome.
The program is offered on Saturday mornings at Synergy Fitness in the Mount Academy.

We have a variety of adaptive bikes and trikes that are available for registered participants. Adaptive bikes come in all shapes and sizes, from bicycles-built-for-two, a tandem, for riders who are visually impaired to handcycles for those riders with mobility impairments.
Children, youth and adult bikes are available. We will provide printed registration forms on the opening night for anyone interested.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Ever wondered what adaptive sailing looks like? Now’s your chance to check it out — and maybe even get inspired to try it yourself!
Come down to the waterfront and witness the Martin 16 adaptive sailboat on the dock. This unique vessel is designed for people with upper or lower limb restrictions, making sailing more accessible, inclusive, and fun for everyone.
Whether you’re a person with a disability, a family member, a curious onlooker, or just love the water — this is an amazing chance to see how adaptive sport makes waves and breaks barriers.
You’ll also get to learn more about the adaptive tech that makes it all possible, meet passionate community leaders, and find out how YOU can get involved.
Let’s raise the sails on inclusion and create more space for everybody to move, explore, and play.
This project is a collaboration between ParaSport and Recreation PEI, Abegweit AbleSail, Sail PEI, and the Charlottetown Yacht Club. Funding provided by ‘ParticipAction’.
